Access to your information
Your first name and official email address is being collected to facilitate access to the survey and ensure data integrity. If we do not collect this information, we cannot maintain the highest level of data integrity for the survey. The information will also be provided to ORIMA Research (the contracted survey provider) for the same purpose.
Your information will not be used for any other purpose.
Neither ORIMA Research or the National Anti-Corruption Commission (Commission) will provide any personal information to anyone overseas.
Both ORIMA Research and the Commission can provide information on how you can access your information and make a complaint if you so choose.
Here are some of the ways we’re protecting your privacy
The Commission’s information and communications technology (ICT) environment can handle information to the PROTECTED classification level and regularly handles highly sensitive information within a strict legislative framework.
The Commission and ORIMA Research both handle information in accordance with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). All information is stored in files locked down to those who have a need to know and a need to access. These file locations are located within the Commission or within ORIMA Research’s secure ICT environments and is transferred between the two environments using an encrypted file transfer system.
The Commission and ORIMA Research use secure file transfer systems for first names and official email addresses. Agencies can also use this system to upload their information directly if they wish.
Following the completion of the survey, and after the fieldwork has been completed and the unit-record data is finalised, the Commission and ORIMA Research will delete all name and email details from their respective ICT systems.
ORIMA Research has a Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) response plan developed according to the NDB scheme. ORIMA Research is well-accustomed to privacy legislation and requirements. ORIMA’s Managing Director is a member of the AMSRO Privacy Compliance Committee and has well-established protocols in place to manage sensitive information.
